In 1867, the EDUARD KRONENBERG company commenced operation with steel pocket knife springs - today it stands for the production of precision parts made of steel and plastic.
EK, a global market leader, has been supplying the insulating glass industry with fasteners made of steel since 1977. In 2004, the range was extended by plastic parts. In 2013, the next milestone is achieved: The two Solingen plants were merged in a new location in the Haan/NRW Technology Park. agiplan takes on the site identification and selection, and the planning of the plant structure, as well as the rough and detailed planning of the entire factory.
New project organisation creates independence
During a six-month planning period, the complete detailed planning for production and logistics for the new factory is devised, including a new greenfield facility. Gradually, more and more stakeholders are involved in order to position the different divisions in the best possible way.
At the end, agiplan delivers the concept and implements an optimally designed factory - with efficient processes and sustainable structures, which will enable Kronenberg to continue growing in the future.
